IPSC will be present at SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2024

The International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) will be present at SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2024 from 7 to 11 April in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

SportAccord is the world’s premier and most exclusive sports summit. It is the only place where you can meet all International Sport Federations. In 2024, the Summit will welcome over 1,500 global sports leaders and key decision makers.

“SportAccord Summit participation is one more IPSC step to the Olympic recognition!” IPSC President Vitaly Kryuchin said.

The IPSC delegation will be represented at the SportAccord Summit 2024 by both headquarters’ members and Regional Directors. The Confederation will be represented with a stand (stand 42) and will share information about the IPSC sport during all days of the Summit and its Exhibition.

IPSC will take part in the SportAccord Summit for the third time. IPSC took part in the Summit for the first time in 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand and in 2019 in Gold Coast, Australia with the help of Australia IPSC Region.

Safe Sport and Sustainability Under the Spotlight as Key Stakeholders Meet in Lausanne for IF Forum 2022.

Hundreds of decision-makers from the international sports community are gathering in Lausanne (28-29 November) for the International Federation (IF) Forum 2022, which will provide a platform for vital discussions about safe sport, sustainability, and human rights.

IPSC was represented by Vice President for New Regions Mr Alain Joly, who visited the IF Forum, had a working meeting with the AIMS President Mr Stephan Fox during the IOC meeting and met representative of the WADA Mr Valentin Capelli regarding further IPSC development goals.

The IF Forum 2022 is bringing together over 350 leaders from more than 125 International Federations, Presidents, CEOs, and Senior Managers meeting face-to-face in order to enable first-class networking and knowledge-exchange opportunities.

Dear IPSC family,

We condemn the breach of peace committed by the Russian government.

At this morning’s extraordinary Executive Council Meeting the following actions were decided:

1) That the 2023 Action Air World Shoot scheduled for Sochi, Russia is cancelled.

2) That all future international matches (Level III and above) scheduled in Russia have been cancelled and have their sanctioning removed.

En la reunión extraordinaria del Consejo Ejecutivo de esta mañana se decidieron las siguientes acciones:

1) See cancela el Action Air World Shoot 2023 programado para Sochi, Rusia.

2) Todas las competencias internacionales futuras (Nivel III y superior) programadas en Rusia han sido canceladas y se les ha quitado la sanción

IPSC approved as a Full Member of GAISF

The International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) has been granted a Full Member status by the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) at the GAISF General Assembly held on November 12, 2021 in virtual format.

IPSC President Vitaly Kryuchin:

“On behalf of IPSC, I would like to thank GAISF President Raffaele Chiulli, Vice President Stephan Fox, the GAISF Council, GAISF officials, GAISF Assembly and the entire GAISF family for their guidance and support! With this important step, we are motivated to continue the development IPSC as a clear, safe, and exciting international shooting sport!

I would also like to congratulate Ivo Ferriani on his new role of the GAISF new President elected, as well as congratulate two new GAISF Associate Members, the Association of Pan American Sports Confederations and World Martial Arts Masterships Committee for their new GAISF status!”

On October 29, 2019 the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) was officially granted Observer status by the GAISF Council.

Within two years IPSC has successfully submitted their complete files which have been reviewed by the GAISF Membership Commission and the Council. IPSC has complied with all requirements as set out in the Membership Application Procedure.

On November 12, 2021 the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) was officially granted Full Member status by the GAISF.
