IPSC and BENELLI enter into major partnership in the field of ‘IPSC Shotgun’
IPSC is pleased to announce the cooperation with the BENELLI as an Official Major Partner in the field of ‘IPSC Shotgun’. The common goal is to promote sport shooting disciplines of IPSC and to contribute to the further expansion of the IPSC community, of currently more than 200,000 members worldwide.
BENELLI has been actively involved in the development of IPSC sport for many years, creating advanced shotguns and are actively involved in sponsoring or organizing competitions and supporting the best IPSC Athletes. A closer partnership will make it even better to listen to the wishes of our shooting sports community for the benefit and the development of the IPSC Practical Shooting Sport. IPSC is a technical sport. The success of the athletes depends on the quality of the equipment used. With companies like BENELLI producing equipment for IPSC athletes they are also developing IPSC sports. Therefore, IPSC attaches the highest importance to this partnership with BENELLI, that producing and supplying sports shotguns to our athletes. Only in such close cooperation are victories possible and the best products developed.

Dear Regional Directors,
I would like to share some news from the recent Continental Council meeting:
1) HWS 2022 preparation report was presented to the meeting by Voravith Chavananand, HWS Match Director. Stage briefings were approved and the stages were built. There is no quarantine in Thailand but to enter you need either be vaccinated and present the vaccination certificate or if you are not vaccinated, you need to present a negative PCR test (within 72 hours before travel).
Gun permits for HWS participants are being worked on but some participants didn’t enter the required information.
!!!Dear Regional Directors, please check the registration of your athletes and remind them to enter all the required information (if they didn’t).
!!!Please remind your participants that it is forbidden to transport ammo without firearms in Thailand according to the local gun law.
2) Proposed draft of the Rules amendments were discussed at the meeting. Rules proposals from Brazil, Colombia and Israel were discussed at the meeting.
3) Draft IPSC General Assembly Final Agenda was discussed at the meeting.

Me gustaría compartir algunas noticias de la reciente reunión del Consejo Continental:
1) El informe de preparación del HWS 2022 fue presentado a la reunión por Voravith Chavananand, Director de la Competencia de HWS. Se aprobaron los briefings de los escenarios y se construyeron los escenarios. No hay cuarentena en Tailandia, pero para ingresar debe estar vacunado y presentar el certificado de vacunación o, si no está vacunado, debe presentar una prueba de PCR negativa (dentro de las 72 horas antes del viaje).
Se está trabajando en los permisos de armas para los participantes de HWS, pero algunos participantes no ingresaron la información requerida.

Dear Regional Directors,
I would like to share some news from the recent Executive Council meeting:
1) Proposed draft of the Rules amendments were discussed at the meeting. Rules proposals from Brazil, Colombia and Israel were discussed at the meeting.
2) Draft IPSC General Assembly Final Agenda was discussed at the meeting.
3) IPSC participation in Shot Show 2023 and IWA Show 2023 was discussed at the meeting and it was decided to be presented in both events.
4) It was reported to the meeting that the first meeting of the IPSC Athlete Committee took place the day before the Executive Council meeting. IPSC Athlete Committee consists of 12 athletes representing different Regions and different IPSC Discipline.
5) HWS Statistics publication. The information about Teams and Individual categories will be presented to the Regional Directors soon.
6) IPSC participation in IF Forum and GAISF General Assembly 2023 was discussed at the meeting. The decision of IPSC participation was approved.
7) Requests from the Regions were discussed at the meeting.

1) El borrador propuesto de enmiendas a las Reglas fue discutido en la reunión. Se discutieron las propuestas de reglas de Brasil, Colombia e Israel.
2) El borrador de la Agenda Final de la Asamblea General de IPSC fue discutido en la reunión.
3) En la reunión se discutió la participación de IPSC en Shot Show 2023 y el IWA Show 2023 y se decidió presentarse en ambos eventos.
4) Se informó que la primera reunión del Comité de Atletas de IPSC tuvo lugar el día anterior a la reunión del Consejo Ejecutivo. El Comité de Atletas de IPSC consta de 12 atletas que representan diferentes Regiones y diferentes Disciplinas de IPSC.
5) Publicación de estadísticas de HWS. La información sobre las categorías de Equipos e Individuales será presentada a los Directores Regionales próximamente.
6) En la reunión se discutió la participación de IPSC en el IF Forum y GAISF General Assembly de 2023. La decisión sobre la participación de IPSC fue aprobada.
7) Las solicitudes de las Regiones fueron discutidas en la reunión.

Dear Regional Directors,
I would like to share some news from the recent Continental Council meeting:
1) Reports from the IPSC Zones were presented to the meeting. In general the situation is positive: Level I-III matches are being conducted in the Regions, membership is either stable or growing. Situation with gun legislation in the Regions is very different from Region to Region. COVID doesn’t influence the majority of the Regions.
2) Handgun World Shoot preparation report was presented to the meeting. The work is in progress. Level III match was conducted in the beginning of August in Thailand. It was conducted successfully, a new range was tested, equipment worked fine.
3) IPSC General Assembly provisional agenda was discussed at the meeting together with the proposed Constitution amendments and Rules amendments. Proposed Constitution amendments will be sent out together with the provisional agenda within the next couple of days. Proposed Rules amendments will be sent within the next couple of weeks, so Regional Directors will have enough time to study them.
4) A document describing the procedure of changing a Region for the IPSC Competitor or Match Official was discussed at the meeting. It was emphasized that the document simply describes the procedure and that an athlete or official may only represent only the Region where he/she resides (According to the Rule 6.5).
5) An item about the Far East Asia/AustralAsia Handgun Championship was discussed at the meeting. Detailed proposals will be submitted by the representatives of the Zone after they will conduct a Zone meeting.

Me gustaría compartir algunas noticias de la reciente reunión del Consejo Continental:
1) Se presentaron en la reunión los informes de las Zonas IPSC. En general, la situación es positiva: las competencias de Nivel I-III se llevan a cabo en las Regiones, la membresía es estable o está creciendo. La situación con la legislación sobre armas en las Regiones es muy diferente entre una Región y otra. El COVID no influye en la mayoría de las Regiones.
2) Se presentó a la reunión el informe de preparación del Handgun World Shoot. El trabajo está en progreso. La competencia de Nivel III se llevó a cabo a principios de agosto en Tailandia, la cual culminó con éxito, se probó una nueva cancha y el equipo funcionó bien.
3) La agenda provisional de la Asamblea General de IPSC se discutió en la reunión junto con las enmiendas propuestas a la Constitución y las Reglas. Las enmiendas propuestas a la Constitución se enviarán junto con la agenda provisional dentro de los próximos días. Las enmiendas propuestas a las Reglas se enviarán dentro de las próximas dos semanas, de modo que los Directores Regionales tengan suficiente tiempo para estudiarlas.
4) En la reunión se discutió un documento que describe el procedimiento de cambio de Región para el Competidor IPSC o el Árbitro de la Competencia. Se enfatizó que el documento simplemente describe el procedimiento en el cual un atleta u oficial solo puede representar a la Región donde reside (De acuerdo con la Regla 6.5).
5) En la reunión se discutió un tema sobre el Campeonato de Armas Cortas del Lejano Oriente de Asia/Australia. Los representantes de la Zona presentarán una propuesta detallada después de que lleven a cabo una reunión de Zona.
