Dear AIMS Members,
As a part of AIMS collaboration with the International Testing Agency (ITA) we are delighted to inform you about the ITA’s monthly webinars, which serve as an invaluable resource to enhance knowledge and promote best practices in anti-doping and sports governance. These webinars provide a unique platform for education, collaboration ensuring compliance with global standards.
The upcoming December session will focus on the topic: “The Athlete Support Personnel – Athlete Relationship in Clean Sport.”
Athlete Support Personnel (ASP), including managers, play a pivotal role in promoting clean sport. With their trusted relationships, ASPs provide not only athletic guidance but also mental, emotional, and ethical support to athletes. Their understanding of anti-doping rules and their influence makes them essential advocates for clean sport values.
We invite all athletes and their support personnel to join this interactive webinar, featuring insightful discussions and live Q&A opportunities with the following distinguished panellists:
- Sára Anna Mihalik, Kayak World Champion and ITA Education Team Member
- Adam Favel, Founder and Head of Athlete Support, DSE Sports
The session will be moderated by Mairi Irvine from the ITA Education Team. Together, they will discuss strategies for fostering a culture of integrity in athlete-ASP relationships.
