United Through Sports is shooting for the stars with the International Practical Shooting Confederation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding at the SportAccord Sports & Business Summit 2024 

The partnership is aimed at ensuring athletes within the confederation and beyond can develop and feel included, no matter their ability.

UTS and IPSC agreed to cooperate in areas of mutual interests with the aim of contributing to the development of humankind as well as the promotion and development of Sports and the Youth Development Movement locally and around the world.

The MoU was signed at the @sportaccord convention 2024 in Birmingham, with IPSC Vice President Friedrich Gepperth and UTS President Stephan Fox making a firm commitment to do their best in the service of the next generations, ensuring athletes of every caliber hit their mark!

IPSC is taking part in the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2024

The International Practical Shooting Confederation, together with UKPSA, will take part in the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2024, on 7-11 April 2024 in Birmingham, West Midlands. IPSC Booth number: 42

IPSC is a participant in the exhibition and will be represented by a 18m2 booth and a joint IPSC – UKPSA delegation.

At the IPSC booth, attendees will be able to get acquainted with IPSC sports and take part in a fun shooting stage with Action Air pistols.

IPSC-UKPSA delegates will assist with all safety measures and sports requirements.

“We are taking part in the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit for the second time. The first time IPSC attended and supported this event in 2019. It was in Australia. This is the largest international event in the world of sports and business. We are pleased to represent our sport to the international sports community and will continue our work to move towards Olympic recognition,” said IPSC President Mr. Vitaly Kryuchin.

International Practical Shooting Confederation and IPSC Region Finland are pleased to invite you to the largest match of the 2024 sports season – IPSC Rifle World Shoot III in Oulu, Finland.  

RWS III Main Match will take place from August 4 – 9, 2024 in Ruutikangas Shooting Center, Raahentie 143, 91900 Liminka, Finland, 36 km distance from city of Oulu. Ruutikkangas shooting sports center is the first and largest first-class shooting sports center in Finland.

“The IPSC Rifle World Shoot is the highest-level rifle match within IPSC, which consists of several days and 30 separate courses of fire. IPSC is on a mission to promote safe use of firearms through the sport and level V matches are the key events in our sports calendar. Together with the host Region – IPSC Finland, IPSC invites athletes, officials and supporters from around the world to join the 2024 IPSC Rifle World Shoot at the Ruutikangas Range, which is one of the best shooting facilities in Finland”. said IPSC President Vitaly Kryuchin.

This is the match that everybody is talking about worldwide. 30 Stages, 500+ Rounds and over 600 IPSC competitors from around the world. 

RWS III’s Stage Design Team includes such IPSC World Champions and Top IPSC Athletes as Petri Runtti, Raine Peltokoski and Jarkko Laukia.

IPSC President Vitaly Kryuchin together with IROA Officials attended Cairo, Egypt, with the working trip, where from January 18 to 26, 2024 they held a series of MISIA and IROA seminars, official meetings with regional representatives of the IPSC Egyptian Region and attended the official opening of the ISSF World Cup 2024.

“Together with IROA we provided MISIA handgun level I and NROI Seminars level I in Egypt. 12 participants passed the MISIA Shooting test, and 50 NROI members passed the exam as well.

Many thanks to ISSF Africa President and IPSC Egypt Regional Director Mr. Hazem Hosny, to IROA President Dino Evangelinos, IROA Official Rudy Marchelo, we provided successfully all the seminars and required knowledge to all the participants to support the new IPSC Region” said IPSC President Vitaly Kryuchin. 

During the visit, the IPSC President met the ISSF President Mr Luciano Rossi and attended the ISSF World Cup 2024, which started with the Cairo, Egypt for the Shotgun/Rifle/Pistol events. The ISSF World Cup 2024 will be held across several cities with athletes from across the globe competing for medals in rifle, pistol and shotgun events.
