Message from IPSC President Mr. Vitaly Kryuchin in regards to International Day of Sport for Development and Peace:
Dear Friends,
Today is the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace!
Let me wish all of you to stay safe and healthy!
Until now IPSC represents more than 200,000 athletes from 104 countries!
In response to global developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace will focus on the health benefits of physical activity, especially in this time of uncertainty and social distancing.
Now in many Regions, it is impossible to train in the ranges. Supporting this initiative and in order to improve our skills, let’s train at home more! We can dry fire the draw, reloading, low position, barricade, strong and weak hand – this is a big range of technical skills to develop! But please strictly follow safety rules! No live ammo near you! Safety is First!
Let’s encourage the world to stay healthy and strong by posting your home training on your social media accounts using the hashtags #StayHealthywithIPSC.
For the International Day of Sport this year, let’s #BeActive and healthy to beat #COVID19.
Vitaly Kryuchin,
IPSC President
