The 2000 American Handgunner Postal Match was the first to include the Production and Revolver Divisions. In recognition of these two new Divisions, participants in Production and Revolver Divisions shot the match for free!

Stage 1. "The Sinker"

Start at the 11 meter line, standing in Area "A" facing downrange with hands relaxed at sides. On the signal, engage Target Group "A" with a minimum of two rounds each, Poppers to fall. (Minimum 6 rounds)

On command, reload, holster and move to Area "B"


Stage 2. "The Line"

Start at the 13 meter line, kneeling, (both knees on the ground) in Area "B", hands relaxed at sides. On the audible signal, engage Target Group "B" with a minimum of two rounds each. (Minimum 6 rounds)

On command, reload, holster and move to Area "C"


Stage 3. "The Hook"

Start at the 20 meter line, lying in the prone position with hands relaxed at the sides in Area "C". (Prior to the signal, no part of the body may be over the line). The competitor's loaded pistol with safety applied will be placed by the competitor in front of Line "C", on the ground pointing directly downrange. On the audible signal, the competitor will reach across Line "C" for the pistol and engage Target Group "C" with a minimum of two rounds each. (Minimum 6 rounds)


Stage 4. "Hook, Line and Sinker"

Start standing in Area "D" in the center of the barricade with the toes of both feet touching the barricade and hands relaxed at sides. On the audible signal, engage Target Group "C" from the right side of the barricade and then Target Group "B" from the left side of the barricade within the fault lines. Then proceed to Area "E" (defined by charge lines). Engage Target Group "A" from Area "E" with a minimum of two rounds each per target. Poppers to fall. (Minimum 18 rounds)
